Objects of Desire: The LAPADA London Fair (10-13 May 2007) is London’s newest art and antiques event. Offering an intimate boutique setting, and collectors’ items from the affordable to the seriously important, Objects of Desire 2007 is the opening act to the busy summer arts season in London.

With a fabulously central location at 6 Burlington Gardens in the heart of Mayfair, the Fair is a stone’s throw from some of the most exclusive shops in the West End. At its launch in May 2006, the Fair attracted a new type of visitor for an antiques fair: young, well-heeled collectors attended as well as wealthy local residents and international visitors. Objects of Desire: The LAPADA London Fair features 70 leading dealers from the UK and Europe, with a balanced mix of fine traditional and contemporary art, exquisite jewellery, superb quality furniture, silver, glass, ceramics and sculpture, and a selection of 20th century design. Prices range from around £100 to well over £100,000 for important collectors’ items.
