Konnie Huq says ‘get creative with your photos’

Konnie Huq - the queen of crafts - may have left her Blue Peter days behind her, but she’s still putting her skill and creativity to good use with her latest project – the Kodak Creative Lab. Konnie is urging the British public to dig out photographs from the shoebox under the bed, pull out jpegs hidden away in folders on computers and turn them into something creative that friends and family will want to keep and share.

Konnie explains, “When it comes to being creative with your pictures, the sky’s the limit! You’re only bound by your imagination.”

Konnie’s hot tip: “Be extra creative and combine pictures with cake – for a football fan, bake or buy a cake in the form of a soccer field. Then draw and cut out body shapes for the players and stick on photographs of friends’ faces.”

Holidays / Gap Year:

Childhood is when your imagination is at its best – it can be a real eye opener to see the world through youngsters’ eyes! Encourage children to spend time outdoors and to take pictures of their friends as well as places and objects that interest them.
