Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 4-103 to be unveiled at Selfridges

This television completely installed with a motorised floor stand and centre speaker as well as the flagship speaker option will cost £112,500. There are different options available.

BeoVision 4-103 ups-the-ante in home cinema experiences - offering the utmost in full High Definition viewing with an impressive pixel resolution of 1920 x 1080 for a razor sharp, incredibly rich and real picture.

It also ensures long term picture quality. All plasmas degrade with time, but BeoVision 4 has the remedy – in the form of Automatic Colour Management, a unique system that compensates for the effects of aging. A tiny built-in camera is the in-house technician, checking the screen after every 100 hours of use and adjusting the colour balance accordingly.

The BeoVision 4 can adapt to any environment. It will detect whether walls are white or wallpapered, not because it has a penchant for interior design, but to give the viewer the best possible picture, based on the actual conditions. The Automatic Picture Control sensor technology continuously measures the ambient light in the room and adjusts the light output from the screen accordingly. This ensures the viewer can get the best viewing experience day or night.

Surrounding the sumptuous plasma screen is a square, brushed aluminium frame, which contrasts beautifully with the triangular BeoLab 10 loudspeakers below. In addition, the quiet curve of its Acoustic Lens ensures a consistent sound sensation throughout the room.
