Masterlease chooses Manheim RMS
Masterlease, part of GMAC, has chosen Manheim’s new Remarketing Management System (RMS) to manage all of its remarketing activities. Manheim RMS is a recently launched system that controls every aspect of the remarketing process covering logistics, inspection, reconditioning and all sales channels, irrespective of the service supplier. For the first time, this provides the system user with the ability to view and manage the whole remarketing process in a single environment. For Masterlease, Manheim RMS now supports over 100 users within four separate departments – Vehicle Remarketing Management, Information Technology Group, Service Delivery and Finance. As Masterlease’s remarketing requirements evolve, Manheim RMS will enable it to choose from its many different options and scale up activities without the need for further systems development.
Glyn Fisher, Head of Vehicle Remarketing at Masterlease said: “The effort and commitment from everyone involved with the project and the degree of cooperation demonstrated throughout has been tremendous. It has been one of the smoothest new system deployments we have ever seen and embodies the spirit of the close partnership we have enjoyed with Manheim for many years”.
John Given, Manheim’s Group Sales Director added: “We’re delighted that Masterlease has chosen our system to drive this important part of its business. When we developed RMS we set out to provide a system which not only fully met the complex functional needs of large fleet operators but did so in an imaginative way to provide some quite innovative touches. The ease of use and flexibility of Manheim RMS ensures that real commercial value can be driven from significant process enhancements.”
The launch of Manheim RMS has resulted in an 8th major industry award for Manheim in just four years, when it scooped the 2008 Innovation Award at the recent Fleet World Honours ceremony in London.
