London's mayor is on the right road

MyCar London electric car company NICE has welcomed the London mayor's announcement that the number of re-charging points within the capital will be almost tebled in the next two years. The company is also keen to be part of Boris Johnson's new electric vehicle partnership and is delighted with the promise of better coordination between London boroughs on incentives.

"This is all excellent news," said Evert Geurtsen co-founder NICE. "Incentives that are clear, consistent and tangible are absolutely central to accelerating the take-up of all-electric cars. This announcement shows Mr Johnson is on the right road."

NICE Car Company is currently exhibiting at the British International Motor Show in London's ExCeL centre. It has just launched three debut models, boosting choice and availability in the all-electric market.

Priced from £8,995, the MyCar is a European designed two-seater; the Ze-0 is the world's first affordable all-electric MPV and the e500 is an exclusive limited edition version of Fiat's iconic small car. All are on sale now.

"We are delighted that Kulveer Ranger, Boris's director of transport policy, took time to visit us on the NICE stand today," Geurtsen added. "We hope Mr Ranger will take the message back to the mayor that a strong line-up of all-electric cars is available to Londoners now."
