Ease the squeeze with Kwik-Fit MOT freeze

3rd September 2008 Print
Kwik-Fit has calculated that the 2.4 million British motorists due to MOT their car during the peak MOT month of September could save a combined £32 million by heading for their local Kwik-Fit centre. That’s enough cash to fill up over half a million3 cars with a tank full of unleaded petrol - even at today’s prices.

Indeed, despite a recent increase in the RRP of an MOT by 5%, Kwik-Fit is pledging to hold its pre-increase offer of £39.95 – representing an incredible saving of £13.15 - 25% below the new RRP of £53.10.

To qualify for the £39.95 MOT offer, motorists need to pre-book an appointment online at kwik-fit.com. Alternatively, they can make an appointment over the phone, or in centre for the price of £44.95 – which still delivers a discount of 15% on the new RRP.

Further savings can also be made by combining an MOT with a service. When booked together with a service an MOT costs an unbeatable £20 - prices start from as low as £99 for an interim service and MOT and £159 for a full service and MOT.

David White, customer services director at Kwik-Fit, commented: “We know that motorists are struggling with the rising costs of motoring, which is why we’re doing all we can to keep prices low. As Britain’s biggest provider of MOT tests we are delighted to be able to continue such a great offer for our customers.”
