Just seven remain at Barratt’s Huntercombe Court

13th September 2007 Print
Just seven houses remain for sale at Barratt’s popular Huntercombe Court development in Bath Road, near Taplow. Some 22 homes were sold off-plan, even before the showhome opened, and since no other family houses are being built in the area, buyers will need to buy now or miss out!

There’s certainly no better time to buy as Barratt has just announced a special deal at Huntercombe Court: Gary Ennis, Barratt regional managing director, says: “This year’s interest rate rises have led to some uncertainty amongst buyers, particularly those planning to move up the property ladder. For this reason we have decided to ‘stop the clock’ by offering a 3% fixed interest rate mortgage for the next two years, making it easier for people to invest in a new home at Huntercombe Court.”

Barratt will also pay £1000 towards legal fees and will include carpets and a fridge/freezer.

Located less than a mile from junction 7 of the M4, on the border of Burnham between Slough and Maidenhead, in Berkshire, Huntercombe Court comprises a mix of striking houses and apartments, including the brand new three storey Oxford house type. With six spacious bedrooms, and four car parking spaces, the Oxford is ideal for large or extended families, priced £454,995.

All the properties in the scheme have an impressive specification. The houses include open plan living/dining rooms, quality fitted kitchens with a range of integrated appliances and ceramic flooring, and en suites to master bedrooms; dressing rooms/nurseries and additional bath/shower rooms. All houses have gardens and many have garages. Apartments are spacious, with a range of contemporary fixtures and fittings.

Huntercombe Court is ideally located for those who need easy access to London and the M4, M40 and M25 motorways. Burnham railway station is less than a mile away and Slough station, also nearby, offers direct rail services to London Paddington with a journey time of around 20 minutes.

Slough and Maidenhead offer a wide choice of shops and the area is well served when it comes to leisure opportunities. Golfers are spoilt with more than ten courses within ten miles of the development. The Montem Leisure centre has an excellent range of sporting facilities. The Royal Borough of Windsor is less than three miles away.

A striking three bedroom showhome is now open. Prices for the remaining houses at Huntercombe Court start from £341,995 for a three bedroom house. The Sales Office on site is open seven days a week, from 11am to 6pm, or visit Kingsoakhomes.co.uk.
