Quality Award for site manager in Slough

Councillor Raja Zarait, who has admired Aspects over the past few months as work on the impressive 197 apartment building nears completion, presented the award to Ram at the development.
Cllr Zarait says: “Barratt’s seven-storey building is a very smart addition to the area and is providing much needed new homes. Ram is to be congratulated for his excellent work as site manager on such a large project.”
The awards, which recognise well-organised sites where the workmanship is exemplary, are presented following a series of unannounced site inspections by the NHBC industry watchdog. Around 18,000 site managers throughout the UK are judged on every aspect of their job, including technical skill, quality of work, customer service and site safety.
Michael O’Leary, managing director of Barratt Thames Valley, says: “I am extremely proud of Ram’s achievement. These awards are the most respected in the construction industry and are recognised as an accurate measure of performance.”
Ram adds: “I am delighted to receive this award and would like to pay special tribute to everyone at Aspects; it’s all about teamwork, that’s what gets the best results.”
