A bolthole from the blue

22nd November 2007 Print
A bolthole from the blue According to the most recent Survey of English Housing, approximately 20% of second residences in the UK are owned by those who work away from their main home. This is certainly the case for Tracy Sheldon, who has lived in Yorkshire all her life.

However, Tracy works as a General Manager and European Marketing Director for a design company in London and so decided to buy a two bedroom apartment at award-winning homebuilder Linden Homes’ Verve development in Slough, as the perfect ‘pied á terre’.

“Slough is a great location for me,” explains Tracy. “The town is close to one of my offices and there are great train links to London. With Verve being so close to the station and M4, life couldn’t be easier. The development is also close to the town centre and all its shops, restaurants and nightlife. Parking is also a breeze as my apartment comes with allocated parking.”

Tracy had visited a number of competitor’s developments, but it was Linden Homes’ customer service that really gave her that final buying decision, as she explains, “Linden made a real effort to provide me with all the details about my new home. I was also particularly impressed by the build quality, as well as the after sales care. I am new to apartment living and I could not be happier in my new Linden home.”

The remaining 2 apartments are Verve all enjoy a high level of specification, as well as a range of fitted kitchen appliances. The apartments come with parking included and Linden is offering a range of fantastic incentives tailored for investors and first time buyers alike.

Prices are from £217,950, for more information about Verve visit the Linden homes website on Lindenhomes.co.uk.
