The housebuilder is offering its Dream Start incentive to first time buyers to help them onto the property ladder. This allows them to move into a brand new Barratt home for only 75 per cent of the purchase price, while still owning a full 100 per cent of the property. There is no deposit to pay and Barratt will pay up to £1000 for the Stamp Duty and legal fees. No interest or rent is payable on the 25 per cent deferred, which is paid back as 25 per cent of the property’s open market value at any time up to the resale of the property or within ten years, whichever is sooner.
