Prestigious new development worthy of its name

17th January 2008 Print
Prestigious new development worthy of its name Barratt will be launching its prestigious development Eton Green in Cippenham, Berkshire on Saturday 26th January and will be marking the occasion by showcasing three showhomes designed to appeal to a range of homeowners from young professionals to families.

Eton Green comprises an impressive collection of 76 homes, a mix of private and affordable ranging from one-bedroom apartments to two, three, four and five-bedroom houses. This is just the first phase within a scheme which will eventually see 300 homes built in this superb location and buying early is recommended.

Among the showhomes is ‘The Chestnut’, a three-storey townhouse with a large open plan living area comprising dining room, sitting room, conservatory and a separate kitchen. The first floor will have three-bedrooms, one with an en-suite Shower Room, whilst the entire second floor is occupied by the master bedroom suite. The two other showhomes are The Willow and The Beech; two and three-bedroom, two-storey homes that cater for modern lifestyles with open plan living areas.

The Beech more unusually features an ensuite to both of its bedrooms; making it the ideal property for a young professional looking to make that first step on the property ladder, as it enables them to rent out the second bedroom more easily.

For families there are four schools to choose from in the immediate area: Cippenham Infant School, Cippenham Junior School, Western House Infant School and Westgate School; the renowned public school Eton on whose land the development is based, is just to the south.

Cippenham town centre has a variety of local shops and an ASDA supermarket and is located off Junction 7 of the M4, providing easy commuting to Maidenhead and Windsor. London is around 23 miles away, with Heathrow Airport approximately a 20-minute drive. The town lies close to the outstanding natural woodland of Burnham Beeches.

Ascot racecourse, Windsor Castle and Windsor racecourse are all nearby. Other attractions include Legoland in Windsor.

Prices start from £165,000 for one-bedroom apartment and from £225,000 for two, three and four-bedroom houses.

Information on all Barratt developments is available at Barratthomes.co.uk.
