Verve has the sweet sound of success

Linden Homes Chiltern is celebrating a record sell out success for its development Verve in Slough, making it one of the fastest selling developments in the town.

Nearly all buyers have now settled into their new homes with the majority of sales divided mainly between first time buyers and investors. The second phase of the development, consisting of 87 homes, were first marketed to prospective buyers in January 2007 and finished selling in January 2008, averaging nearly two sales a week.

One new home buyer, Tracy Sheldon who bought a two bedroom apartment at Verve said: “The town is close to one of my offices and there are great train links to London and the M4. The development is also close to the town centre and its shops, restaurants and nightlife. My apartment also comes with allocated parking which is at a premium in Slough.”

We offered a number of incentives to help first time buyers onto the property ladder including 5% deposit, legal fees and stamp duty paid plus furniture packages. Investors could take advantage of the Assured Rental Scheme run in conjunction with Campsie Estate Agents which gave them £1,000 a month guaranteed rental income for 1 year which also included the added benefit of a furniture package.

“Demand for new homes across much of the Chiltern region remains strong with sales in highly sought after locations showing no signs of slowing. We have already secured a further significant site in Slough which will deliver a mix of one and two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom houses.”

Buyers can meanwhile turn their attention to the Linden Homes Chiltern site in nearby Farnham Royal, just north of Slough. The Grange, a development of two, three and four bedroom homes is situated in Buckinghamshire known for its excellent schools and also recently ranked as the top county in the Halifax Quality of Life Survey. A wide range of local amenities including shops, restaurants and open green areas are all conveniently located close to the development.

Sales & Marketing suite is open daily 10am – 5pm. Prices for the remaining homes start at £330,000 for a three story mid terraced property.
