Pay just 75% now for a brand new home at Jennett's Park

While the Government's plans to allow first-time buyers to take advantage of shared equity may still be some months away, George Wimpey is offering homebuyers the opportunity to use the innovative scheme to buy their new home now.

‘Easy Start' means customers at Jennett's Park, the leading housebuilder's development between Wokingham and Bracknell, need only take out a mortgage on 75% of the purchase price of their new home, with no deposit needed.

George Wimpey then provides a rent and interest-free loan on the remaining 25% of the purchase price for up to ten years.

"Easy Start is aimed at first-time buyers and those looking for a more affordable mortgage option," says Tim Betts, Regional Sales and Marketing Director.

"Through this scheme they can take out a mortgage on a much-reduced amount, and pay off the interest-free loan in up to three installments stretching over the next decade."

The scheme is available on a wide range of properties, including two-bedroom coach houses and three and four-bedroom houses. Prices start from £161,246.

The three-bedroom ‘Wessex' for example features a kitchen, a large living/dining room with French doors to a private garden, an entrance hallway and downstairs cloakroom. Outside there is a garage.

Upstairs, the landing leads to a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, two further bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Like all new properties at the development, the ‘Wessex' enjoys a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.
