Fundraising success for David Wilson Retirement Homes A series of events at David Wilson Retirement Homes developments in the region has netted Macmillan Cancer Support more than £2,000. Events ranging from a dedicated coffee morning through to a Strictly Come Dancing event with TV presenter and former contestant Bill Turnbull were held to mark the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.

Operational sales manager said that David Wilson Retirement Homes was delighted to have been able to be part of such an important fundraising day. "Residents and visitors all entered into the spirit of the day and we are pleased to have raised £2,157 for the charity," she said. "We had dancing, coffee mornings, raffles and auctions and are already planning fundraising efforts for next year.''

The over 55s developer, is currently offering a range of cottages at The Mews at Chestnut Grange in Wokingham.
