Fabulous show home unveiled at Hollybush in Reading

Fabulous show home unveiled at Hollybush in Reading David Wilson Homes has unveiled a fabulous five-bedroom showhome at its Hollybush development in the village of Burghfield Common, Reading. Two of the five homes have already been sold off-plan.

Now, visitors can see for themselves the exceptionally high specification of these family homes. The superb fixtures and fittings have been specially selected not just for the showhome, Oak Apple House, but for every home at Hollybush.

First impressions are important and visitors won't be disappointed when they step inside Oak Apple House. The wide hall has at its centre, an elegant bifurcating staircase leading to a galleried landing. Glazed internal doors on the ground floor ensure a good flow of light to the principal rooms. The impressive open-plan kitchen, with both family sitting and breakfast areas, has gleaming granite worktops, smart integrated appliances - including a range cooker - and ceramic flooring throughout. Also on this floor is a separate dining room and a living room, both with French doors opening onto the garden, a study, a cloakroom and a utility room.

All the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes; the master and second bedrooms each have an en suite shower room and a generously-sized family bathroom serves the other three bedrooms. The master bedroom is of particular note; being above the double garage it is superbly spacious and has a large round feature window at one end.

Lynne Morgan, sales director at David Wilson Homes Southern, says: "Our homes at Hollybush have been designed to the highest standards and have that real ‘wow' factor. All the properties are ideal for family life, with gardens and an attractive leafy setting within this lovely village. Every home has a security system for extra peace of mind."

The location has much to offer those who like a country lifestyle but equally enjoy having town facilities nearby. There's a good choice of local schools and easy access to the M4 at Junction 12; Theale railway station is only three and a half miles from the development.

Prices for the remaining five bedroom houses are £675,000 for Oak House and Sycamore House, and £725,000 for Oak Apple House. David Wilson Homes is offering a variety of incentives to assist buyers, including home exchange.
