Internet fishers research all the angles

“I have been getting a large number of phone calls about the land from people who have seen it on the internet and are keen to know more about it,” says Chris Boreham, of Dreweatt Neate.
“I have sent out more than 20 sets of details. It’s hardly surprising, as the land is a very attractive proposition and the southern boundary has about 100 metres of bank of the River Kennet, although the river fishing rights do not form part of the land’s freehold. I believe the lake has been stocked in the past but I don’t know with what species.
“The lake was formed by gravel extraction and self established woodland on two sides screens it from the road. It is fed by a drain running round the north of the property, where there are also some cultivated plots. A gated access leads onto a hard track into the land.”
The property is being offered for sale by tender and these have to be submitted by Noon on Friday, January 30, 2009. For more details, email cboreham@dnproperty.co.uk.
