Property sales go through the roof at Regis Park

Property sales go through the roof at Regis Park House-hunters can’t keep their hands off the brand new homes at George Wimpey’s Regis Park development at Earley near Reading, with 15 properties sold in just six weeks. The sought-after new styles – combined with the chance for movers to save up to 10% on the price of a new home – are proving irresistible to today’s savvy buyers.

Using the new Fastmover scheme, for example, which is available on selected four-bedroom properties and two-bedroom houses and apartments, the faster the customer exchanges, the cheaper their new home is.

By choosing the four-bedroom ‘Cedar’, ‘Fastmovers’ can save over £19,499 if they exchange contracts in one month – or nearly £38,999 off the price if they exchange in two weeks.

For first-time buyers and those looking to increase their deposit, the leading housebuilder’s popular Deposit Match scheme is helping them to put down up to 10% of the price of their new home immediately, by matching their deposit up to 5% of the purchase price.

Meanwhile, customers with a property to sell are using the Easymover scheme to make a quick and hassle-free move. George Wimpey can help find a buyer for their existing property, pay the stamp duty on their new home and contribute towards legal fees.

Kate Gordon, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for George Wimpey, says: “With such a great range of schemes available to help our customers to get on or move up the property ladder with ease, there’s little wonder homes at our Regis Park development are bucking the national trend and selling at a tremendous rate.

“We have an offer to suit most circumstances, and we can tailor our incentives to suit individual needs. Our advice is to come along and speak to our professional Sales Executives at Regis Park, who will be happy to help would-be movers to find the right deal on their dream home.”

The family-sized ‘Cedar’ is just one of the new homes attracting new buyers to Regis Park, and features a large kitchen/breakfast room with French doors to the rear garden, a living room with stylish bay window to the front, a separate utility room, a dining room, a guest cloakroom and an integral garage.

Upstairs, the landing leads to a master bedroom with en-suite shower room, three further double bedrooms – two also benefiting from access to a shared en-suite, and a main bathroom.

Like all new homes at the development, the ‘Cedar’ includes central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.

Four-bedroom homes at the development range from £287,995 to £389,995, while the two-bedroom ‘Cherry’ housetype is £219,995, and two-bedroom apartments start at just £148,995.

Earley is in a prime location for those seeking a home close to a great choice of schools, local shops, restaurants and a baker’s, plus the Oracle Shopping Centre in Central Reading with its 10-screen cinema, major brand names, stylish bars and restaurants and niche shops.

The A4 provides great links to the M4, M25 and London, and Reading station offers frequent, 30-minute services to the City.
