AA car data check gets five star rating

An independent review by Auto Express, the most subscribed to motoring magazine in the UK, with a circulation of 91,029, has revealed that AA Car Data Check is the best vehicle history checking service on the market.

Auto Express carried out a thorough review of the six leading vehicle history checking services available in the UK and announced that AA Car Data Check, which is powered by Experian®, the global information solutions company, as the number one, BEST BUY service.

The product test by Auto Express highlighted the dangers of buying a used car and the importance of carrying out a vehicle history check beforehand. AA Car Data Check was the only one of the history check services to receive a five star rating and was described as a "comprehensive service that has everything covered…with the results explained superbly."

Auto Express used each of the six well-known services to assess a Mazda Premacy and Peugeot 406, both with a list of ‘dodgy’ histories attached to them.

The Auto Express survey said: "AA Car data Check certainly came to the rescue. Results were given in full over the phone and the operator discussed details thoroughly. Both problems were noted immediately and the written report arrived two days later. There was a £10,000 guarantee, mileage check and a valuation – but the customer service and information on the phone are enough to make this product a worthy Best Buy."
