‘Ask the experts’ say George Wimpey

Leading local house-builder George Wimpey West London is hosting the Ask the Experts day on Saturday 2nd May at its two popular developments in Bracknell – The Parks and Jennett’s Park.
By coming along to either development between 11am and 4pm, visitors can speak to local estate agents, solicitors and financial advisors to gain the information they need to help them make the right move.
Tim Betts, Sales and Marketing Director for George Wimpey, says: “Many people have concerns about moving, particularly as they feel they may not be able to sell their existing property easily, or they are worried about being able to get a mortgage.
“By ‘Asking the Experts’ they can receive clear-cut answers to any questions they might have, to help them make informed decisions.”
In addition to sound advice on the many options today’s movers face, visitors can find out about a range of money-saving incentives available on the new homes at The Parks and Jennett’s Park – including the opportunity for first-time buyers to gain assistance with their deposit, or for existing home-owners to receive help to find a buyer for their current home.
Incentives are available for first-time buyers, investors and those with a property to sell simply by coming along.
At The Parks, visitors can also see a range of four-bedroom homes starting at £299,995 – including the stunning showhome which includes stylish fixtures and fittings in the price.
They can also find out about the Government First-Time Buyer Initiative (FTBi) on selected George Wimpey apartments, through which qualifying purchasers can benefit from a low-interest loan covering up to 50% of the price of their home.
Interest-free for the first three years and with the loan rate then capped at 3%, it means a two-bedroom apartment can be purchased with a mortgage of just £87,498 – with no deposit needed.
Jennett’s Park is home to a wide choice of family-sized properties, including three-bedroom homes from £239,995, and the sumptuous four-bedroom, three-storey ‘Farlborough’ – ready to move into and priced from only £359,995.
With its four double bedrooms – two with en-suite bathrooms – and an amazing open plan kitchen with dining room, the ‘Farlborough’ is ideal for families or as a place to invite guests to stay without cramping anyone’s style.
The large lounge opens through French doors to the landscaped garden, while a utility room, a cloakroom, a garage and an extra parking space mean this fabulous design has everything needed for a comfortable new way of life.
Like all new properties at the development, the three-storey ‘Farlborough’ enjoys a high standard specification including gas central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with built-in oven, hob and hood.
Jennett’s Park, off Peacock Lane, is a new community between Wokingham and Bracknell, with homes served conveniently by their own shops, school, sports facilities, play areas, pubs and amenities. Next to the development is a beautiful 90-acre country park offering opportunities for woodland walks and cycle rides.
The Parks, which enjoys a pretty setting just a mile from the town’s pedestrianised centre can be found off Halifax Road in Bracknell Forest.
Ask the Experts takes place at both developments on Saturday 2nd May from 11am.
