Mortgage protection offers peace of mind for buyers

David Wilson is paying the first year’s premium to insure buyers against being unable to make their mortgage payments through no fault of their own.
“It’s great to have a little extra peace of mind when you’re moving into a new home,” said Lynne Morgan, sales director at David Wilson Homes Southern.
“Whether it’s illness, injury, redundancy or something else unexpected, this policy will ensure that monthly mortgage repayments are covered in full for up to three years. It’s a welcome element of reassurance in these uncertain times.”
The free insurance applies to standard protection policies taken out by homebuyers as a requirement of their mortgage offer. Customers will have no monthly premiums to pay for the first year and the cover – should it be needed – will meet the whole of each month’s mortgage repayments for up to three years. Buyers may still be eligible for other assistance packages from David Wilson.
Compton is located off the A34, around nine miles north of the M4 (J13), with Oxford to the north and Newbury to the south. David Wilson’s new homes will be ideal for families wishing to live near good schools. The village has a primary school, and for older children, The Downs School, which has received three outstanding inspections in a row and can claim Arsenal/England footballer Theo Walcott amongst its alumnae.
