New sales director at top of her game

Redrow's newest sales director has risen rapidly through the company ranks - enjoying no fewer than four promotions in as many years since joining the company. Debby Pavitt, who has just taken on the role of sales director at Bristol-based Redrow Homes (South West), originally joined the company as a sales consultant in June 2004, in her native South Wales. She was made a field sales manager just a year later and six months on her hard work was rewarded with another step up the career ladder to area sales manager.

A fast promotion to sales manager followed before she moved across the Severn Bridge to take on the top sales job in Bristol.

Debby, 46, is relishing the challenge of her new position. The mum-of-two grown up daughters, who lives in the village of Caerleon, near Newport, said: "I sold new homes for 12 years before joining Redrow and, having worked here for the last four years, the company's ethos of building new homes of the highest quality and providing first-class customer service is close to my heart. It's something I will strive to maintain and improve even further.

"We have some exciting developments underway on this side of the Severn Estuary, from our award-winning Vision scheme, which is helping to rejuvenate a large part of Devonport town centre, near Plymouth, to the 77-acre site at Cheswick, just north of Bristol, where we are building a new urban village of ‘greener' homes to meet future Government targets for sustainability."

She added: "I've got a superb sales team to work with in the South West and we're fortunate that we have some terrific developments to sell."

Based at Bradley Stoke, Bristol, Redrow Homes (South West) is currently building in Nailsworth, in Gloucestershire; at Malmesbury, Chippenham and Westbury, in Wiltshire; Bristol, Bath and Weston-super-Mare, in Somerset; Tavistock, Plympton, Devonport, Newton Abbott, Winkleigh and Barnstaple, in Devon; and Launceston, in Cornwall, with a new development due to launch in Cirencester.
