A new look for Redrow in Bristol

A new look for Redrow in Bristol Putting customers first is imperative for Redrow and one of the main reasons the award winning housebuilder has invested in a brand new specification for its homes at Cheswick, in Bristol.

The beautiful new designs, which include fabulous new contemporary kitchens and sleek bathroom suites, are now showcased at the development in the form of two stylish show homes.

Barry Stiles, sales director for Redrow Homes (South West), said: "Meeting the needs of 21st century homebuyers is top of our agenda right now. In a challenging housing market we recognise the importance of putting ourselves ahead of the competition and we believe our new specification homes do just that.

"At a time when other housebuilders may be looking towards cost-cutting measures, we have invested a huge amount of time, money and effort in getting the new designs just right. Our new kitchens feature state-of-the art integrated appliances and modern floor to ceiling banks of units, which are inspired by the latest Italian designs. Our white units are right on trend and we have combined this with contrasting wood finishes.

"The list of new features is extensive and we believe they will make a real difference to our customers' lifestyles. We've also updated the layouts of our homes to suit the demands of modern life."

At Cheswick, named after the Chaucerian for "village of choice", Redrow has designed two stunning show homes, which not only show off the new specification, but also the light and spacious nature of the new homes.

The four-bedroom ‘Caxton' show home has a chic and stylish kitchen, with a complementary mix of gloss white and walnut effect units and an island unit in the centre. The designers have created a bright and serene living area with light neutral tones brought to life with splashes of aubergine and soft pink.

In the two-bedroom apartment, the interior designers have gone for a slightly ‘edgier' look to suit a first time buyer, using a colour scheme of black and grey with accents of lime green.

Set in the leafy surroundings in Filton, close to Bristol city centre, Cheswick will be an entire community of environmentally-friendly homes, which go above and beyond the current building standards for sustainability.

Tallsticks is the first of several smaller ‘villages', which together will create the community of Cheswick, complete with shops, places to eat and all the local amenities of an established residential neighbourhood.

Consisting of contemporary apartments, terraced homes, detached properties and three-storey villas, the homes at Cheswick are all designed to achieve level three of the new Code for Sustainable Homes - two years ahead of targets set by Government - making them more energy efficient and cheaper to run while still appearing and functioning as a normal home.

There are currently one and two-bedroom apartments, plus three and four-bedroom homes available, priced from £114,995 to £274,950.
