Townhouse living at Strawberry Fields

6th February 2009 Print
David Wilson Homes is offering part exchange to people who want to move up to one of the stunning townhouses at Strawberry Fields, the developer’s popular site at Downend near Bristol.

“Many families opt for the townhouse style of home because it provides flexible accommodation,” reports Bernice McKenna, sales director at David Wilson Homes. “Our Queensville and Melton houses are ideal for people who want a large living space.”

The Melton, a three-storey townhouse, has an integral garage, kitchen/breakfast room and a cloakroom on the ground floor. The first floor boasts an L-shaped lounge/diner, two bedrooms and a bathroom, and the second floor has two additional double bedrooms, both of which are en-suite. Prices for this house style start from £239,950.

Also set across three storeys, the three-bedroom Queensville comes with a stunning kitchen/family room with French doors to the garden, master bedroom en-suite as well as a study/fourth bedroom and downstairs cloakroom. This house style is priced from £199,000.

Both homes benefit from gardens and either garages or parking spaces and part exchange is available to buyers moving up to a larger home.

Strawberry Fields is a stylish courtyard development of just 24 homes. In addition to the townhouses, current availability includes two-bedroom terraced houses priced from £169,950 and one-bedroom coach house apartments priced from £124,950.

Buyer incentives include Part Exchange, Head Start and HomeBuy Direct at the Strawberry Fields development.

Part exchange means David Wilson acts as a guaranteed buyer for your existing home and removes the estate agents fees, cost of HIPs and the uncertainty of a chain so you are free to enjoy your new home.

The Head Start scheme requires buyers to secure a mortgage for just 85 per cent of the asking price and David Wilson Homes will fund the remaining 15 per cent. The buyer still owns 100 per cent of the home but pays just 85 per cent of the price.

The HomeBuy Direct scheme has David Wilson South West matching the Government’s funding pound for pound in the new venture to provide the 30 per cent equity loan to the homebuyer. The buyer finances the remaining 70 per cent either through a mortgage, a deposit or a combination of the two.

The popular suburb of Downend has a strong community spirit and enjoys convenient access to Bristol city centre, with its exciting selection of shops, superstores and leisure facilities.
