Family part exchange to dream home in Siston

11th June 2009 Print
Family part exchange to dream home in Siston Andrew and Jo Savory found the perfect family home when they part exchanged to a five-bedroom house at Beaufort Vale, David Wilson Homes’ stunning development in Siston, Bristol.

“We were looking for a larger home and saw an advert for Beaufort Vale in the local newspaper,” said Andrew (40), who works in medical sales. “We loved the detached, Maddoc style house because it was so spacious.

“The accommodation includes a large hallway, lounge, kitchen/diner/family room and downstairs cloakroom. We have two boys and they have a bedroom each now, and we still have two spare bedrooms for guests. It’s an ideal family home.

“We also like the position of our new house,” Andrew continued. “We have a south-facing back garden and the front looks out towards a wooded area. We feel like we’re ‘living in the sticks’ but we are close to Bristol, so we have the best of both worlds. My wife is a teacher in Keynsham, which is only five miles away.

“The part exchange scheme was very good,” he added. “We received a fair valuation for our old house and the David Wilson sales team has been fantastic. They made us feel special and did everything to make our move as smooth as possible.

“The after sales care has also been exceptional – we’ve moved into new houses before but have never received the high level of customer care that David Wilson provides,” Andrew concluded.

Bernice McKenna, sales director of David Wilson, adds: “Our part exchange scheme is specially designed to help people buy the home they want and to make the move as stress free as possible.

“It removes all the uncertainty, because David Wilson Homes is a guaranteed cash buyer - so there is no chain, no last-minute price haggling and no hidden expense - and we also cover the cost of HIPs.”

Beaufort Vale offers a selection of detached houses set in mature landscaping. Current availability includes the five-bedroom Griffith priced at £366,950; the five-bedroom Maddoc priced at £377,500 and the six-bedroom Monet, priced at £540,950. Part exchange is available for people moving up to a larger property.

Although nestling in a leafy location close to countryside and Siston Common, the development is also near to local shops, schools and the Avon Ring Road – which offers easy access to Bristol city centre.
