Kicking the grit

25th April 2006 Print
Kicking the grit Grit particles picked up on a sponge or wash mitt used whilst washing a car can damage a car’s paintwork with fine scratches or swirl marks that spoil the overall effect of a paint finish. However, help is at hand from Meguiar’s, the world’s leading manufacturer of car care products.

Grit Guard is a simple yet very effective product that will prevent particles of grit from being transferred from a sponge onto a car’s bodywork. It fits neatly into a wash bucket and each time you dunk a sponge or mitt into the bucket you rub it against the grit guard and the offending particles are removed, fall to the bottom of the bucket and are effectively removed from the useable wash solution.

Meguiar’s Grit Guard retails at only £9.99 or if purchased with an optimally sized bucket, £16.99. It is available from all good independent accessory shops, direct from Meguiar’s website meguiars.co.uk
