Outdoor lighting shines brightly at National Lighting Stores Outdoor lighting can extend the use of outdoor space while providing safety, security and peace of mind. A garden can come to life in the evening with just a few, carefully selected fittings. “It’s all about achieving the right balance between light and shadow. Lighting achieves its most stunning effects when used sparingly to create a subtle but oh-so-effective result,” says Michele Lynch, Manager of National Lighting’s two stores.

Garden lighting continues to grow in popularity as more and more homeowners want to link outdoor living with the comforts of the home. You can turn your garden into an inviting and attractive haven with a little imagination and the right ingredients.

“Consider lighting as a work in progress. Start with the basics and light up driveways, paths and steps,” says Michele. But when these projects are completed, other creative plans can come to fruition.”

If you find it difficult to decide what lighting scheme works best for you, why not pay a visit to the National Lighting stores which have “landscape areas” which house outdoor fittings – this is a great way to get some ideas.

National Lighting is Ireland’s premier stockist of outdoor lighting and the Royal Botania range, which is available exclusively from National Lighting, is particularly impressive. It is a diverse collection of products which use high quality natural materials allowing them to blend effortlessly into the garden environment.

An added bonus is that most of the Royal Botania products are energy efficient, making them virtually maintenance free – put them in your garden today and they will run for up to 50,000 hours.

The latest offerings promise to be popular and feedback from customers has been superb. Many of the products come in a range of sizes and finishes, so you can continue the theme from the wall light in your porch out into the garden, creating a consistent design.
