Thumbs up for Guild member’s team endurance race

Guild of Motoring Writers member Chris Thorp is among the Auto Express staff to have signed up for a high-octane, all-action 24-hour motor race on one of the world¹s most advanced driving simulators.

The BBC Children in Need 24-Hour Team Endurance 2008 is being organised and hosted by The Race Centre (driverschallenge.co.uk) at its dedicated – and Britain’s first – race car simulation centre in Hampshire. There, Scuderia Auto Express’s hand-picked squad will prepare with two free practice sessions in early November before bracing themselves for the race proper on 14-15 November – from 2pm on Friday afternoon until 2pm Saturday. The event has attracted 10 teams from all over Britain including, it is rumoured, at least one Formula One-affiliated squad.
