Vehicle Remarketing Solutions (vrs), part of the Manheim Group, has introduced an innovative new photography studio facility employing highly professional state-of-the-art lighting technology. The professional quality images that can now be produced will help the sales team illustrate the quality of the cars and give buyers a more ‘retail’ experience.

vrs worked closely with Portfolio, vehicle imaging specialists and also part of the Manheim Group, to design and build the photography studio located at the vrs centre in Coventry. The studio moves vehicles through the photography process with the use of a turntable mechanism to manoeuvre each car quickly for high quality front, back and interior shots. The studio also includes a lighting system that earned an ‘Oscar’ and a Technical Achievement Award from the Motion Picture Academy of Arts and Sciences. This lighting technology, identical to that used in many major television and film productions, ensures image quality remains consistently high, regardless of weather conditions or availability of daylight.
