York MG Rover and MINI owners get specialist expertise

MG Rover and New MINI owners in York and surrounding areas can now receive more affordable specialist vehicle servicing and repairs for their cars, as Turnbull’s York has joined the growing number of XPart AutoService centres to offer specialist servicing for MG Rover and New MINI. The network contains more than 250 garages across the UK and provides specialist MG Rover and New MINI service and repair at affordable aftermarket rates.

“By taking their car to an XPart AutoService Centre, customers can be assured that their vehicle will be worked on by expert technicians with access to the latest diagnostic tools for MG Rover and New MINI vehicles,” says Donald Lindsay, service marketing manager, XPart. “MG Rover owners can have complete peace of mind that specialist servicing is still available for their vehicles, while many New MINI owners will be looking for high quality service alternatives as their TLC package comes to an end, and are reluctant to pay the labour rates associated with franchise dealer garages. The new services offered by Turnbull’s York aims to fill this gap in the market by delivering expert servicing at more affordable rates.”

MG Rover owners have been without a franchised dealer network since the collapse of the car company in 2005. However, XPart, the former parts arm of MG Rover, provides comprehensive support to owners. As well as establishing the AutoService centre network, the company has also invested substantially in guaranteeing the supply of ‘genuine’ MG Rover parts for the next 10 years and currently holds £20m of MG Rover stock. The company has also been selected by NAC MG to distribute parts for the new range of MG TF cars recently launched at Longbridge.

Turnbull’s York is a family-run business with six factory trained technicians and over 50 years’ experience in the garage trade. In addition to a full range of service and repair options for all makes of car, the company offers a courtesy car service, body repairs, car valeting, and is also an MoT testing station.
