Success was achieved through proactive buyer marketing campaigns led by new Auction Centre Manager, Mark Taylor, who organised an intensive programme of five auctions each week throughout the month.Mark Taylor, previously Wimbledon Auction Centre Manager, joined the team at the 23-acre centre three months ago, and has been delighted to be able to preside over the centre’s most successful achievement to date. Commenting on the success, Mark Taylor said: “I am very proud of such a great result achieved in September. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the team at Leeds, and a demonstration of our excellent sales programme with such a large and varied choice of stock. To achieve this record in the current economic and trade conditions is a real positive for Manheim Auctions and its vendors.”
