The exclusive package enables young professionals to move into a home for just £99 – the price of an iPod.

200 biodegradable balloons were released into the air at the weekend with special tickets attached. The first five people who find a ticket and take it to the sales information centre on Rake Lane will receive a free iPod.

With no large deposit required, and with prices starting at £104,995, buying at The Place is an ideal way to make that first step onto the property ladder.

Anthony Mansfield, sales and marketing director, said: “Everyone appreciates that buying your first home can be a stressful and expensive time.

“We aim to make the process as easy and affordable as possible. Normally when buying a new home, buyers are asked to provide a reservation fee to secure the property which can be a substantial amount, and they have to pay a 5% deposit. If they buy at The Place, all they need is £99.”

Carole Jackson, sales executive at The Place, said: “Our exclusive discount package for first time buyers also includes 5% deposit paid, £500 cash per month for 12 months, £500 towards legal fees and £250 towards mortgage fees.

“The deal is simply too good to miss out on and the balloon release is a fantastic way of marking the launch. We’ve already had our first person come in to claim their free iPod!”

The one and two bedroom apartments at The Place have been designed specifically for first time buyers. They are contemporary, beautifully-designed homes, at prices they can afford.

The unique design features such as the distinctive cedar boarding make the apartments at The Place particularly stand out. All the apartments on the upper floors also have the luxury of a balcony where buyers can relax and enjoy the views from their new home.

Located on Rake Lane, The Place is in a highly desirable location of Clifton, situated within walking distance of Clifton Country Park local nature reserve.

As well as offering countryside views, the development provides buyers with the conveniences of local amenities, with the town centres of Swinton and Pendlebury located nearby. A wealth of shopping and leisure facilities are also available in the neighbouring cities of Salford and Manchester.

The Place is also perfectly placed for transport. The M60 is less than a mile away, offering easy access to the North West motorway network. Public transport is also readily available including Clifton and Swinton railway stations which are only a short distance from the development.

For more information, call into the sales information centre on Rake Lane, which is open seven days a week, between 10am and 5.30pm.

A two bedroom Cedar show apartment is also available at the development for public viewing.
