Fantastic family fun at Thirlmere Gardens

Bolton families had a fantastic day out courtesy of George Wimpey Manchester, who hosted a Family Fun Day to celebrate the success of the popular Thirlmere Gardens development in Horwich. Mr Bubbles The Clown and Co, from CBBC’s Best of Friends, entertained the children with face painting, balloon modelling and magic tricks.

Children also contributed to George Wimpey Manchester’s Giant Wall of Hands and were given free sweets and chocolates to take home with them as a reminder of their day, along with their balloon models and brightly painted faces.

Brierley Howard, ten, said: “It was a really good day and Mr Bubbles and Co were very funny. They had everybody involved in the tricks and made clever balloon models. They even made one for my dog!”

Ciara and Connah Mansfield, seven and four, said: “We had a brilliant time and thought our painted faces looked really good. The Giant Wall of Hands was fun because we got to put paint all over our hands!”

While the children were entertained by Mr Bubbles, parents had the opportunity to view the two stunning show homes at the development, designed by award-winning interiors company, Connections In Design.
