Lea Green on the starter’s blocks

15th February 2008 Print
Lea Green on the starter’s blocks With building work about to start at Lea Green – Barratt Manchester’s development at the former home of Leigh Harriers – buyers will need to sprint to snap up a home at pre-build prices.

Those able to speed to the sales office on Holden Road will be able to benefit from the award-winning housebuilder picking up the Stamp Duty costs and including carpets in the sale.

And for those looking for a brand new, maintenance-free property, the development has much to offer including three and four bedroom houses.

“There are some great offers at the moment,” says sales negotiator Stephen Murray. “With the builders moving on site in the next month there will be some dramatic changes and people will really be able to see the properties taking shape.”

The development, close to the walks and lakes of Leigh Flash and within a few minutes of the £multi-million Leigh Sports Village, will comprise just 65 properties.

Currently available on the development are the four-bedroom Palmerston and three bedroom Kentmere.

Both have a fully-fitted kitchen and several have a south-facing rear garden.

The Palmerstons are on release from £170,950.

The sales office at the development off Holden Road, Leigh is usually open seven days a week, 11am-6pm or visit Barratthomes.co.uk for more information.
