George Wimpey shows locals how to tackle the credit crunch

The housebuilder has laid on a panel of experts including an independent financial adviser, a local estate agency and one of the George Wimpey North West's dedicated Easy Mover specialists to offer advice at a special Beat the Credit Crunch Weekend.
The Beat the Credit Crunch team will be on hand between 11am and 5pm on each of the two days at both developments to discuss the many different options that are available for people looking to move home.
George Wimpey North West sales & marketing director Marie Wilkinson explains: "The newspapers are reporting a slow down in the housing market but the truth is that people are still buying new homes.
"Some others are being put off because they don't think they can get a mortgage, while some worry that they won't be able to sell their own house first, but the events at Saxon Park and Evergreens are designed to show how these obstacles can be overcome."
Saxon Park is a beautiful development situated in Great Sankey, within close proximity of Warrington Town Centre, while Evergreens is a development of three bedroom semi detached homes and townhouses and four bedroom detached homes situated in the village of Abram, on the outskirts of Wigan. Both are in easy commuting distance of both Manchester and Liverpool.
Four bedroom detached homes at Saxon Park are priced from just £209,995, while prices at Evergreen start from just £134,995.
