Where location is everything

27th May 2008 Print
Where location is everything The new home owners at Barratt Manchester's Lea Green development in Leigh will not have far to move. In fact many of the people taking the opportunity to buy a brand new maintenance-free home will be relocating from a local address.

"A lot of the people choosing a home here will be moving just a couple of miles - which says a lot about what the area has to offer," says sales negotiator Stephen Murray.

The development is close to the town centre and within minutes of the £multi-million Leigh Sports Village which its entertainment and leisure facilities. Currently on release are two designs - the three-bedroom Kentmere and four-bedroom Palmerston. The Kentmere offers three bedrooms over three floors, with a self-contained bedroom, shower room and utility room on the ground floor. On the first floor is the fully-fitted dining kitchen and roomy lounge. On the second floor is the master bedroom and en suite along with bedroom two and a second en suite shower.

The Palmerston offers a roomy lounge leading to a fully-fitted dining kitchen with double French doors onto the rear garden. Upstairs are four bedrooms and the family bathroom. The properties will be ready to move into in autumn, and the Palmerston semis offer south facing rear gardens and are located in a quiet cul-de-sac.

The Kentmeres are on release from £210,850 while the Palmerstons start at £170,950.

The sales office at the development off Holden Road, Leigh is usually open seven days a week, 11am-6pm or visit Barratthomes.co.uk.
