The Howard's are happy in their new Wigan home

Carol and Paul Howard, along with their two daughters, recently moved into their new Bloor Home at Maypole Gardens in Abram, Wigan. Carol and Paul purchased ‘The Westfield', a 5 bedroom detached home with a double garage.

Carol says: "The plot appealed to us as it has a lot of space around the house. As well as the land we got with the property, we have views to die for. Our house looks out over fields and you can see out towards Manchester."

Carol and Paul were familiar with the area, as their previous home, which they had lived in for eighteen years, was about a mile from Bloor Homes' Maypole Gardens. Carol says; "My husband was keen to move and really wanted a house with a drive and garage. Once we visited the development and saw ‘The Westfield' we were hooked. Our new home is so light and bright. The current situation with property prices did concern us but this is not a home we will be moving from for a very long time."

Carol continues: "We changed a few things about the house, like having the kitchen breakfast area and dining room combined into one large space. I love having two separate rooms downstairs, as we can be in one space and the girls in another." Carol and Paul also had the double garage made into one large space, with a double door to it, rather than two separate doors.
