Barratt Manchester says housing stocks reach record low

Barratt Manchester has continued to sell properties since September during a period when pundits were writing obituaries for the housing market. Visitor levels are remaining buoyant - which means that the big discounts buyers can now take advantage of will soon become a thing of the past.
"People who want a new home have worked out that there will never be a better time to buy," said Dave Hodgson, Sales Director at Barratt Manchester.
"More and more people are cottoning on to this and the number of potential customers visiting our sites is actually higher than it was 12 months ago.
"While bargain hunters seem to be out in force, supply is going down. We have sold several properties during autumn. We now just have nine stock properties - that is, those that are ready to move into now - left in Sharston.
"Time is running out on the once-in-a-generation deals which we've been offering homebuyers in the last few weeks. We just won't have the level of stock left to sell."
Available now to buy at Barratt's High Beeches development in Sharston are several two bedroom apartments, some of which have two bathrooms. Prices for these stunning homes, which enjoy a landscaped communal courtyard garden with water feature, start at £150,800, but for those buyers able to complete by 19 December the list price has been axed, and prices start at just £105,600.
