Mike Fisher nets NHBC award for Bellway

Mike Fisher, site manager at Bellway’s Heathfields development in Newton Heath, Greater Manchester, has received his fourth National House Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Award.

Pride in the Job is a truly prestigious award. It is designed to reward and recognise site managers who consistently demonstrate commitment to only the highest standards in homebuilding.

Recipients are very strictly judged using a points system which covers a wide range of criteria including site organisation, safety and end quality.

Over the years, the competition has become synonymous with quality new homes and as a result the award has become a recognised seal of approval for new homebuyers.

Mike, from Chester, has worked for Bellway North West for over eight years and is thrilled to have received the prestigious award for the fourth time. He said: “On the construction side of the residential development industry this is one of the biggest recognitions that anyone can achieve. It is a great testimony to the efforts of a dedicated team and its relentless pursuit of excellence.

“We have developed an atmosphere on site at Heathfields where the team help each other and take a great deal of pride in their work. It is an honour to have that level of pride recognised.”
