When the time came to retire, there was only one place where Narrottam Bhai Patel and his wife Ansuya Ben Patel could see themselves living out the rest of their days. The Patels previously lived in Bolton between 1961 and 1980, a period during which Narrottam Bhai Patel worked as a cotton weaver in one of Bolton's many textile mills.

Millgate is also perfectly located for commuters, being conveniently situated between the M60 and M61, and a short walk from Bolton's main train station and bus station.
