Horwich buyers become masters of moving with Redrow

The developer has already helped thousands of home buyers all over the UK to move smoothly into their new homes via its established Mastermove service, which aims to get people moving faster and more easily.
It could be the perfect way for discerning home buyers to achieve a move to award winning Redrow's unique Arcon Village venture, in Horwich, which is seeing historic, grade II listed buildings being transformed into modern bespoke homes.
Among properties available through Mastermove are three-bedroom converted cottages that feature a number of traditional characteristics as well as having sleek kitchens and modern bathrooms.
The helpful Mastermove scheme allows customers with an existing property still to dispose of to ‘hold' their dream Redrow home for up to four weeks, whilst Redrow takes over the selling process on their behalf. In addition to minimising the pressure, Mastermove endeavours to achieve the best price for the home and, once sold, Redrow will then even pay the estate agent's fees.
Lesley Myers, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (North) says: "It's all about helping our customers as much as possible and doing what we can to facilitate their move into a brand new home at one of Redrow's most treasured developments.
"By using Mastermove, buyers can pass the bulk of the work involved in marketing the property over to us. We will appoint a handpicked local estate agent to manage the house sale and, after a free valuation, will agree a price at which to market the property and will monitor the agent's performance on a regular basis. We want the best for our customers, which is why we only choose effective agents to work on their behalf."
Arcon Village was originally an 18th century bleach works, owned by the Ridgeway family. In line with their Grade II listed status, each stone built property is being delicately restored to encapsulate the essence of the area's industrial heritage and the venture comprises 140 bespoke apartments, town houses and mews-style cottages.
As part of the development, a clock tower and bell tower have been sensitively restored to their previous splendor, providing a central landmark feature for this already fine venture.
Prices for the three-bedroom cottages at Arcon Village start at just £199,999, whilst prices for four-bedroom homes begin at £259,995.
Lesley adds: "The combination of rural surroundings, easy access to all the trappings of modern life and a choice of properties steeped in history and character is what has made our development so successful."
