Buyers are in good hands at Evergreens

17th June 2009 Print
Buyers are in good hands at Evergreens George Wimpey has appointed one of its top sales executives at its Evergreens development on Park Lane in Abram to ensure customers receive VIP treatment. Joan Dobson, who has worked for the housebuilder for 13 years and has received rave reviews from customers throughout her career, is now on hand to help buyers net their ideal home at the sought-after development.

She said: “I was based at The Seasons in Platt Bridge for three years and then worked at Chatsworth Gardens in Liverpool for 18 months, so being in Abram is like coming back home for me. It’s great to be back, Abram is a real up and coming area and the people here are fantastic.”

Joan has a plethora of customer care awards to her name, scooping a George Wimpey Hallmark award nearly every year she has worked for the company, and she is also the only sales executive to have won a customer care award on two separate developments in the same year.

Speaking about the Evergreens development, she commented: “I love working here; it’s a superb development, on the edge of beautiful countryside with easy access to the motorways, close to fabulous shops and only six miles from Wigan town centre with its new arcade shopping centre. Residents have everything they need close by.

“We’ve got some fabulous homes at Evergreens but buyers had better hurry if they’d like to own one as we only have four properties remaining!”

Still up for grabs at the development is a choice of Shannon three bedroom mews homes and a four bedroom detached Canterbury home.

Joan said: “The Shannon has a lovely kitchen with an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom and allocated parking, while the Canterbury features en-suite shower rooms to both the master bedroom and the second bedroom. It would make a superb family home.”

There is currently a mid-plot Shannon home available at the outlet for just £112,995, while the four bedroom Canterbury is available for just £169,995.

George Wimpey is offering buyers a range of great deals to help them own one of these remaining properties at Evergreens.

Buyers with deposit worries can benefit from the Depositmatch scheme, whereby the housebuilder will match the buyer’s deposit, up to 10% of the property’s value, giving them access to better interest rates and lower monthly mortgage payments.

Buyers are given the Depositmatch amount in the form on an interest-free loan over 10 years. Stamp duty and legal fees are also covered by George Wimpey. They own 100% of their property and there is no rent or interest to pay during the loan period.

The housebuilder is also offering buyers with a home to sell its Part Exchange scheme, which involves George Wimpey buying the purchaser’s current house from them, leaving them free to move into their new home as soon as possible.
