A family affair at The Fairways
Local couple Collette Walsh and Andrew Marshall, as well as son Jamie (17) and puppy Snoop, have finally found their perfect family home at David Wilson Homes’ The Fairways development in Royton. And according to Collette and Andrew this was thanks to the fantastic support of the sales team, especially sales advisor Jason, and because of the ideal location and attention to detail in the David Wilson design.
Collette explains: “We were living in a big old house in Oldham and wanted to downsize. Royton has been top of our list for a few years and we were really keen to move into the area.
“We had visited lots of developments but always came back to David Wilson Homes as they offered the best choice in a perfect location. There were so many designs to choose from at The Fairways, and a big attraction was that the development was so private and peaceful.”
“Our son, Jamie was also a big fan and when we took our one-year old puppy, Snoop to have a look we could tell he loved it too!”
Andrew adds: “The sales team at The Fairways were great. We received fantastic customer service, even before we purchased and once we had decided upon our dream home they made the process as easy as possible by purchasing the home of the family who bought our property.”
At home in the Hamley
Collette and Andrew instantly fell in love with the three storey, three bedroom Hamley design with Collette commenting: “Our old property had just become too large for our needs so we were looking for a new home, which would still give us our own space but mean we were together more as a family.”
The Hamley home offered them all the flexibility they required, with some fantastic design features too. They especially liked the open plan layout with the lounge/dining space proving particularly popular.
Andrew explains: “We love the lounge and dining area as it’s a lot more flexible and comfortable than in our last house and we want to use the space all the time - we always have our friends and family round now!”
