Heywood development pilots charity initiative

Hey Mount is one of the first George Wimpey developments in the country to introduce Community Cashback, an initiative where official community groups or local charities who register with George Wimpey receive a cash donation from the company whenever one of their members or supporters buys a new home at the development.
The housebuilder is offering a £1,000 donation for all new properties sold under the scheme.
Anthony Mansfield, sales and marketing director for George Wimpey Manchester, explains: “We already run a Recommend a Friend scheme at some of our new build developments, but this new initiative allows good causes and community groups to share the cashback rewards that are available.”
To take advantage of the scheme, interested local charities or official community groups must first register with George Wimpey Manchester. They will then be sent official vouchers which can be redeemed for cash when a group member or supporter buys one of the new houses or new apartments available at Hey Mount.
Hey Mount is a stylish development of just 74 new homes, including three and four bedroom houses and two bedroom apartments. The Community Cashback scheme is available on the full range of properties.
Among the housetypes available is the Cranage, a luxurious four bedroom three storey home priced from just £135,995 at selected plots.
The ground floor of the home has a spacious living room with dining room with patio doors leading to the private rear garden, cloakroom and a superb kitchen with breakfast area. The first floor has the first two of the bedrooms and the family bathroom, while the second storey has a further two bedrooms, one with en-suite facilities. Each Cranage also has an allocated parking space.
Hey Mount is situated on Heywood Street, within walking distance of Heywood town centre.
The location is ideal for those who enjoy the great outdoors, with the historic Queens Park located in the heart of the town, and Hopwood Clough Nature Reserve in Middleton just a short drive away. Heywood also enjoys some beautiful countryside with Ashworth and Roch valleys just on the doorstep, or for the golf lover Manchester, Springfield Park and Castle Hawk golf clubs are all within a 10 minute drive.
Heywood is ideally located for commuters to Manchester, Bradford and Leeds, as well as those travelling further afield via Manchester’s Piccadilly train station. The development is located close to the M62 motorway, which connects to the M60 and M66 and in turn the M61, M56 and M6. A regular bus service also operates from Heywood into Manchester and its surrounding towns, including Bury, Oldham and Bolton.
