RTC growth continues with Manheim
RTC (Real Time Communications), one of the UK’s leading developers of aftersales software, has celebrated its first anniversary as part of Manheim Retail Services, with growth of 30% in the number of dealers using the product. More than 70 new sites have been added during 2008 and the total number of dealers employing RTC software has now risen to over 300. New RTC clients this year include Bristol Street Motors, John Grose, Sandicliffe, Brayely Honda and Pentagon, amongst others.Utilising many years of dealership service department experience, RTC was formed in 2001 and helps dealers promote, manage and improve revenue from servicing and aftersales activities more effectively. To enhance its value, RTC has been developed to interface with the majority of the major dealer management systems.
Tim Baumfield, Managing Director of RTC said: “A few years ago we developed a fantastic piece of software that could manage many aspects of aftersales activity and importantly was able to interface with the dealer management systems that are the lifeblood of all dealerships. The chance to become part of an organisation of the scale and reputation of Manheim was simply too good to pass up and I believe that the relationship has brought a host of exciting new opportunities for both the RTC product and the team behind it. The first year results are testament to the opportunities that we have been able to leverage as part of the Manheim Group.”
