Award winner to head up Barratt construction team
Barratt site manager Kevin Saunders is set to take his NHBC award winning expertise to the housebuilder’s newest development in Bridgwater. Kevin won an NHBC award for his work at Riverside Mews in Bovey Tracey and Barratt sales director Caroline Hill said his expertise was good news for buyers at Stockmoor Parade.“We pride ourselves on quality at all stages of development and Kevin is just one of 400 site managers in the whole country to have won an NHBC award this year from 18,000 entrants,” said Caroline.
The prominent competition, started in 1980, has become synonymous with quality new homes and is recognised as a seal of approval for new homebuyers everywhere, the award seeks out and acknowledges the very best site managers.
At Stockmoor Parade Kevin will oversee construction of the exciting development of two bedroom apartments, three and four bedroom detached houses within minutes of the thriving town centre of Bridgwater and with great views of the Quantock Hills.
Caroline said that the first release of properties will see two bedroom apartments being offered with special sales office opening deals on selected plots, including the Move in for £99 incentive.
“First time buyers are being given the chance to escape the rental trap and move into their own brand new Barratt property for a down payment of just £99 on selected apartments. This deal means Barratt will pay the stamp duty, legal fees and the deposit for a first time home buyer - making a new home in Bridgwater even more attainable.
“This initiative enables buyers to literally move in for a down payment of £99, use the money they would have been paying to a landlord for their mortgage and begin accruing equity.
“We also have three and four beds available for sale, great for families and those looking to upsize,” commented Caroline.
“Stockmoor Parade will offer homes at the more exclusive end of the market. This development is part of the South Bridgwater Development, a major regeneration programme to provide a high-quality urban development, a new primary school and a country park near North Petherton.”
Stockmoor Parade will be located just off junction 24 of the M5 motorway, and has easy access to Bristol and its Airport to the North with Taunton and Exeter to the South.
