Knightstone Island attracts top rentals in Weston

According to a leading local lettings agent, Knightstone Island has achieved the highest ever rental incomes in Weston super Mare for properties of their type. David Plaister, a director at West Coast Properties, believes the Redrow development on the once derelict island is a hotspot for buy-to-let investors due to because the properties appeal to high-end renters.

David said: “The apartments at Knightstone Island are attracting some of the highest rental levels that have ever been achieved in Weston super Mare. That is partly down to the uniqueness of the location, the magnificent views and the high specification of the units.

“We are finding that the development is even attracting tenants away from nearby towns and city’s such as Bristol because of its distinctive nature. Although the properties are valued higher than some others in the town, we have been negotiating rental incomes that are interesting to investors

The historic seaside town is enjoying a new renaissance as regeneration initiatives, economic partnerships and private investors strive to deliver a better environment to bring Weston back to prominence.

With new employment, new retail and leisure facilities coming on stream – more people are being moving to the area, attracted by the town’s wealth of opportunities.

Knightstone Island ticks many of the boxes on local peoples’ wish list.
