Barratt has good news for house buyers in Bridgwater

14th November 2008 Print
If you've had enough of the media's gloomy reports about the housing market, then you'll be pleased to know that Barratt has some good news for homebuyers in Bridgwater and the surrounding area.

"During the last four weeks we've reserved over 30 homes throughout this region," reports Tim Larner, Managing Director of Barratt Exeter. "We are still selling homes at a good level, and we have schemes in place to help everyone move to the home of their dreams.

"Barratt is committed to getting first-time buyers onto the property ladder and, using our Dream Start scheme, they can buy a new home at 75 per cent of the price, with the other 25 per cent being deferred for up to 10 years," Tim continued.

"Our part exchange scheme allows buyers to move to a larger home without the hassle of chains breaking, as long as there is a 30 per cent price differential between the old home and the new Barratt property.

"There will be a Festival of Housing weekend at our Stockmoor Parade development in North Petherton on 22nd and 23rd November," Tim added. "This will promote special deals on selected homes, including Dream Start and part exchange, as well as our ‘Buy of the week' deal."

At Stockmoor Parade, Barratt is impressing first time buyers with the Falkirk-style apartment with two bedrooms and carpets. Originally priced at £115,000, this apartment is available for £86,250 with Dream Start.

Stockmoor Parade lies just minutes away from the thriving town of Bridgwater and its amenities. The site is part of the South Bridgwater Development, a major regeneration programme to provide a high-quality urban development, a new primary school and a country park within North Petherton.
