Barratt announces ‘final few’ at The Exchange Time is running out if you would like to buy a home at The Exchange, Barratt’s hugely popular development in Highbridge, Somerset, where just two homes are still for sale.

“We have enjoyed considerable success at The Exchange, particularly with local families, and I would urge prospective buyers to register their interest as soon as possible,” reports Barratt sales director Louise Ware.

“We still have homes to suit both first-time buyers and families. These include a two bedroom apartment, priced from £124,995, and a four bedroom townhouses priced from £189,995.

“We can offer a variety of buyer incentives,” Louise continued. “These include our Dream Start shared equity scheme for first-time buyers and part exchange for people moving up to a larger property.

“With Dream Start, buyers secure a mortgage for 75 per cent of the purchase price while the other 25 per cent is covered by Barratt and repayable interest free, either within 10 years or on the resale of the property.

“Buyers who move up to one of our townhouses can take advantage of our part exchange offer which we are currently offering with mortgage protection. Barratt is a guaranteed cash buyer so there are no chains, no last-minute price haggling and no hidden costs.

“You will be able to move quickly without the burden of HIPs of estate agents fees and you can stay in your old property right up until your new one is ready,” concluded Louise.

The Exchange is a small development of just 45 homes and boasts its own play park area. It is well located close to a supermarket, local schools and the train station.

The town of Highbridge lies on the beautiful Somerset levels and offers a range of amenities, including shops, pubs and restaurants. The M5 provides easy access north to Bristol and south to Exeter. Nearby Burnham-on-Sea, with its lovely coastline and golden sands, offers the perfect weekend retreat for people of all ages.
