Barratt’s Indigo adds colourful dimension in York

Barratt Homes has launched Indigo, an exciting new development in York which forms part of the ambitious redevelopment of Acomb. With the first homes just released, home buyers can take advantage now of off-plan prices on Indigo’s choice of one and two bedroom apartments starting at £131,995, plus two and three bedroom homes from £169,995.

Located on Thanet Road and offering easy access to York city centre as well as the main A59 and A64 routes out of the city, Indigo has been designed to appeal a wide range of home buyers, including those looking to get on the first rung of the property ladder.

Barratt Homes sales director Paul Hogan says, “Indigo looks set to follow in the footsteps of our other recent developments in the Acomb area which have all proved extremely popular and sold very quickly. As one of the area’s best-known and longest established house builders, we have a great knowledge and understanding of what local buyers want from a new home and we think the design of Indigo reflects this perfectly.”

Among the property styles available at Indigo are the Washington and Norbury townhouses. The Norbury features a ground floor kitchen and living/dining room with French doors opening to the garden. Its upper two floors accommodate three double bedrooms, including an en-suite master bedroom, plus the family bathroom.

Indigo’s sales office is now open daily between 11.00am and 6.00pm and is situated in the car park of the York and District Indoor Bowling Club while its new location is being prepared. To find out more, visit Barratthomes.co.uk.
