A change for the better

25th July 2007 Print
A change for the better They say a change is as good as a rest, but when it comes to part-exchanging your way to a brand new home it opens the door to a whole new way of life. Things can only get better if you trade up to a new home at Abbey Fields in Osgodby, near Selby, where award winning developer Redrow is willing to consider part-exchange for the six remaining properties.

These ‘fast track’ plots are ready to move into almost straight away and, with part-exchange available for a quick and easy move, why wait?

For home owners wanting to find out how part-exchange can help them improve their surroundings, Redrow is hosting a special weekend at Abbey Fields on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th July, when an estate agent and financial adviser will be on site to explain the process.

Sue Lambert, sales director for Redrow Homes (Yorkshire), says: “Part-exchange is great for customers as it takes the problem of finding a buyer for their existing property out of their hands and paves the way towards that all-important new home. We take care of everything for them and they don’t have to worry about their buyer pulling out or a chain collapsing and delaying the whole process.”

As well as finding out about part-exchange, visitors will also be able to view the fully furnished Ribble show home and enjoy some light refreshments.

The Ribble style is among the last remaining properties at Abbey Fields and is priced from £234,995. It’s a spacious home with an unusual layout, thanks to the clever use of its converted roof space to create a sumptuous master bedroom with en-suite shower room.

The remaining three bedrooms and family bathroom are on the middle floor, while the ground floor has a traditional layout of lounge, separate dining room and fitted kitchen, as well as a cloakroom/wc. There’s also a single garage.

Other remaining homes include the four-bedroom detached Otter and Roadford designs, both with a host of family friendly essentials such as en-suite to master bedroom, separate lounge and dining room, utility room and a garage.

Abbey Fields is located in the semi-rural village of Osgodby, just a short distance from Selby town centre, with its wealth of high street shops, banks and building societies. There are two major supermarkets within the town centre as well as a railway station with direct routes to Leeds, York and London, making it ideal for commuters who want a quieter home life.

To find our more about the remaining properties and incentives available, join Redrow for its part-exchange weekend between 10am and 5.30pm on Saturday 28th and 29th July, or log on to Redrow.co.uk.
